AI Army and peninsula

If there are 2 peninsula and each peninsula has one kingdom then when there is a war between those kingdoms, their army will find the shortest way to attack the enemy and the shortest way is cross the sea but if they don't have transport boat their army will stand still, they don't swim or use another way on land to get to enemy kingdom

StevenI've noticed armies getting stuck on peninsulas (even tiny ones) when there's no war as well.
