Game freezes and or crashes every minute or so after loading into the game

As the title states, the game stops functioning and crashes after around a minute or two of playing, to my knowledge this is a problem that occurs on android phones but might also happen on ios? This problem has happened before or is an unfixed problem, since last time I played this game a few months ago it was an issue that the devs were aware of and we're going to fix, and has either come back or never got fixed.
